The player finishes levels with a specific end goal to advance further into the game. There are various territories in Salem to investigate, for example, a congregation, a flat building, and a memorial park.
Played in a third-individual view, the player explores the hero, Ronan, around town. Murdered Soul Suspect happens in a fictionalized form of Salem. He is then educated by his long-dead spouse, Julia that he should fathom the Bell Killer puzzle so he can rejoin her. In the wake of getting a knockoff by the Bell Killer toward the start of the game, Ronan returns as a phantom. Also, Game Update & DLC (PKG/ISO) can be installed on any PS3 via USB or FTP.
